Wooden Ammunition Box – 303 Cartidges bundle packet 1940

Original WW2 British wooden box intended to hold 1000 cartridges of .303 inch Mk VII ammunition, bundle packed. Complete with its original metal inner box. This was issued on 10 June 1940. All labels present. Very nice box, not very often seen example and early dated! The closing lid is not present.
