Waffen-SS M42 SD combat helmet – CKL66

Waffen-SS M42 single decal helmet. This helmet is in untouched original condition, shows traces of wear. All three liner retaining rivets are intactl. The leather liner is in used condition and named to ‘Siemers’. The shell is maker marked CKL66 which indicates production by the company Eisen u Hüttenwerke, AG from Thale/Harz. The reverse interior neck guard apron has a stamped serial number which is hard to read but looks like 2823. This helmet was originally found in Caen, Normandy. The helmet has its original chinstrap, maker marked  and dated 1942.
