2nd Battalion Royal Canadian Engineers (RCE) regimental history. Printed by N.V. Nauta & Co in Zutphen, Holland in July 1945. In May 1945 on instruction from the CO a committee representing all compagnies in the battalion assabled to discuss the question of a battalion souvernir. So they decided to publish a boo covering the unit’s activities since its formation. It was agreed that the qualifying period to be eligible for a copy should be three months service with the battalion between D-Day and V-day.  In the short time available is has not been possible to assemble a complete story of the battalion. This book features many interesting pictures what are not widely spread, from Normandy, Belgium into Holland. 84 page. 20.5 x 29 cm.

A hard to find regimental history printed in 1945, only printed for member who served the battalion more then three months between D-Day and V-Day!
