Royal Canadian Engineers (RCE) – Mk2 helmet

Original WW2 Royal Canadian Engineers (RCE) Mk2 helmet. Genuine period RCE decal applied to the left side. The helmet is in good used condition, very nice that the helmet has an original period brown layer painted over the green factory paint, something we see a lot on original helmets found is West Europe. This helmet is maker marked CL/C, dated 1940, liner is British made and maker marked FFL and dated 1942. Helmet is untouched and a nice original example! Name is scratched inside the helmet, FORMBY.
