RCCS 1st Can. Armd. Brigade – Battle Dress and Beret

RARE Original WW2 RCCS – 1st Canadian Armoured Brigade battle dress tunic and black armoured beret named to H. Goldner with service number D-21586, all his service details are below. The tunic is in good condition, normal traces of wear. Maker marked S. Stall & Sons Ltd from Winnipeg, dated 1944 in size 4. Original period badged with CANADA titles and the 1st Canadian Armoured Brigade patches with RCCS (Royal Canadian Corps of Signals),  five years overseas chevrons with the white 1939 chevron and ribbon bar. Rank chevrons are removed, not sure why. The beret is British manufactured Kangol Wear Limited, dated 1942 (first berets) in good size 7 1/8, with its original period applied RCCS cap badge. From October 1944 he was with the Three Rivers Regiment as Signaller.
