Irish Regiment of Canada – Caubeen

Original WW2 Irish Regiment of Canada caubeen (bonnet). Good used condition, maker marked A.B. Hewer Uniforms & Caps from Toronto. C broad arrow marked what indicates this caubeen is wartime issued. The Irish Regiment of Canada wore the caubeen with the cap badge over the right eye (mirrored how other regiment wore their bonnet or beret). We see caubeen’s on wartime pictures with and without the toorie. This caubeen does not have a toorie. Also a hackle was not always worn by the regiment. Very nice example!
