H-Cell Lid

Original lid for H-Cell. This lid shows rust, still good for display or restoring a H-cell.

The type H container was used predominantly for dropping supplies to resistance, Jedburgh teams and members of the SOE operating behind enemy lines. It is made up from an assembly consisting of five individual storage sections which are in the center, a percussion head on one end and a parachute stowage section on the other end.
