WW2 Glider Pilot Regiment (AAC) insignia group to Lieutenant Colonel Peter Jackson DFC. He flew horsa gliders on D-day, Market Garden and the Rhine crossing. Lt. Col. Jackson began his service with the East Surrey Regt. before becoming Glider Pilot. The group consists of East Surrey Regt Sweetheart broach, veterans blazer buttons, and OR’s cap badge. The Army Air Corps (AAC) items comprise of a pair of Officers bronze AAC collar badges, pair of AAC cap badges, Glider Pilot Regiment cap badge is an reproduction badge, post war Staybright rank pips and crowns, Irving Parachute badge and AAC veterans blazer buttons. Very nice grouping, comes in this nice wooden display case, measures approximately 30 x 22,5 CM.
