Denison Smock – 2nd Model 1944

Original British WW2 Denison Smock, 2nd model in close to mint condition! The smock shows minor traces of usage, bright colors. The zipper closure is marked ‘Lightning’. The smock has its original makers label, maker marked by ‘John Gordon & Co’. Dated 1944 with size 5 (perfect size!). The smock is fitted with Newey press studs, good functional zipper. Full length tail is present. These smocks were used by British and Canadian Paratroopers, Commando’s and regular army troops. This is the best smock we have handled!

Original early wartime ‘hand painted’ Denison Smock 1st model in good used condition! These early first models were were hand painted, and not offered for sale very often. The smock shows normal traces of usage. The zipper closure is marked ‘N’ what indicates the company of Newey. The smock has its original makers label, maker marked by C.W.S. this company doesn’t show the date on the label very often, the early 1942 types of camouflage were handpainted fabrics. The smock is fitted with Newey press studs, good functional zipper. Full length tail is present, one front press stud for the tail is missing. These smocks were used by British and Canadian Paratroopers, Commando’s or regular army troops.
