Denison Smock – 2nd Model 1944 – Size 3

WW2 British Denison Smock. This is a 2nd model in very nice used condition! The smock shows normal traces of usage, bright colors, one press stud of the tail is missing, and left shoulder shows some paint stains. The zipper closure is marked ‘N’. The smock has its original makers label, maker marked by ‘John Gordon & Co’. Dated 1944 in a very good size 3. WD marked with letter M what indicates the date 1944. The smock is fitted with Newey press studs, good functional zipper. Full length tail is present. These smocks were used by British and Canadian Paratroopers, Commando’s and regular army troops.

Original early wartime ‘hand painted’ Denison Smock 1st model in good used condition! These early first models were were hand painted, and not offered for sale very often. The smock shows normal traces of usage. The zipper closure is marked ‘N’ what indicates the company of Newey. The smock has its original makers label, maker marked by C.W.S. this company doesn’t show the date on the label very often, the early 1942 types of camouflage were handpainted fabrics. The smock is fitted with Newey press studs, good functional zipper. Full length tail is present, one front press stud for the tail is missing. These smocks were used by British and Canadian Paratroopers, Commando’s or regular army troops.
