Canadian Vehicle Transfer – RCA
Original WW2 Royal Canadian Artillery vehicle sticker with number 14 what indicates 1st Canadian Rocket Battery – 1st Canadian Army (Orginally from assets of 112th Battery 6th LAA).
By 1944, transfers (water based decals) were being made and issued for marking vehicles. The decals were for the formation signs, and for background colours for unit signs. This saved many hours of work and greatly improved the quality. After WWII, peel and stick decals came into use. Very nice item for display! Maker marked by Gale & Polden Ltd, this British company made also decals for helmets.
