Canadian Leather Jerkin – 1943

WW2 Canadian Leather Jerkin. The leather jerkin was originally introduced in the British army during WW1 and was quite popular with the troops and its usage continued through out WW2. The Canadian manufactured leather jerkins are made in multi panel construction and are much better quality compared to the British leather jerkins. This jerkin is in very good condition. There was a label in the neck, perhaps for soldier’s name? The maker label is present, dated 1943 in size medium.

Good size and early date, we have only handled 1943 dated examles!

This jerkin is in very good condition. The jerkin is dated 1943. Normal medium size.
These leather jerkins were worn by the infantry, armoured troops and other troops.
