Canadian Dispatch Rider’s Helmet 1944

Scarce WW2 Canadian Dispatch-Rider’s helmet. The Canadian steel motorcyclist helmets are different then the British motorcyclist helmets, the Canadians used rubber instead of horse hair and have are wider chinstrap and larger press stud. The helmet is complete with it’s original liner, the helmet retains most of its original paint, shows some scratches and wear. The liner is in very good condition and is nicely maker marked with ‘BS’ and dated 1944. The shell is nicely marked with CL/C and dated 1944.
