WW2 British/Canadian Mk3 Helmet with Netting
WW2 British Mk3 helmet also known as the ‘Turtle helmet’. The helmet comes with a original camouflage netting. The helmet is in good condition. Complete with its original chinstrap and liner, maker marking is underneath the rubber cross, date is readable 1945. Liner is in good condition. There are traces of a Medic Cross marking. These Mk3 helmets were widely issued to British and Canadian assault troops who landed in Normandy, June 6 1944, and afterwards also to supplied to other troops.
Mk3 helmets are getting harder to find in this original condition!
