British Denim Tank Suit – 1944

A scarce original WW2 British Denim Tank Suit.
This pattern of tank suit came into use with the British Army during 1942/1943 and was designed to be worn over the Battledress uniform in the same way the two piece denim uniform. These saw extensive issue in Normandy and were well liked due to their lightweight, versatile nature. They have became very rare to find today. The overalls feature two map pockets, one to the front of each leg. Additional pen holding section on the front of the left breast pocket. The original label is still present inside the overalls. Dated 1944, and the overalls are a good large size 5. The condition of the overalls is in good used condition, with a damage on the left arm. Various signs of wear.. The original waist belt is present. The internal harness straps are also still present!
Would make a great addition to any collection with a doubt!
