61st Reconnaissance Regiment grouping – Trooper Reginald Henry Walter Mills
Interesting WW2 61st Reconnaissance Regiment – 50th Northumbrian Division grouping, named to Trooper Reginald Henry Walter Mills (1920 – 2003). He served the Royal Berkshire Regiment before he become a Wireless operator with the 61st Recce corps. He was wounded on D-Day. The grouping consist of Recce corps lanyard, 50th div patch, veteran club scarf, Recce pins, photos, regimental history book ‘Beaten Paths are Safest’ and an very interesting capbadge with damage, and named on the backside. Last photo is just a photo from a Corporal in the same unit.
